Announcing the Virtual Art Gallery
newsStudents have been involved in a number of exciting art projects this fall. For the first time, they have been exploring digital photography. Children brought in special objects to shoot studio still-lives, walked outside to do field studies, and brought pictures from home -- many of which were entered into a national, Adobe photography competition.Â
Mrs. Caton is pleased to announce a virtual exhibit of St. Bernard student Art where you can visit some of their work!Â
Announcing New Music Programs
For the 2007-08 school year, St. Bernard’s would like to announce the beginning of a string program. All third grade students will be given the opportunity to discover, learn about, and play the violin. Grades four through sixth will be given the opportunity for small string ensembles and eventually, orchestra. The IUP String Project will also provide an on-going individual lesson service that is available to any student grades 3-6.
This program has been made possible through the fundraising and generosity of the PTG, the wonderful support from Dr. Linda Jennings, Lauren Hunter, Liesel Dorrow, the IUP String Project, and most importantly the parents here at St. Bernard’s.
